Welcome back to cooler weather, great roads, and one of our favorite Tejas Chapter getaways — Kerrville and the Texas Hill Country!
Our annual Utopia Drive is back, and we’ve put together another great weekend of scenic Hill Country roads, BMWs, good food, and time with fellow club members. This year’s routes will take us through some of our favorite driving areas, including Bandera, Tarpley, Utopia, Concan, Camp Wood, Vanderpool, and Leakey.
Here’s what we have planned:
Arrive in Kerrville, get settled in, and join us for dinner as we kick off the weekend.
Group Dinner – 6:00 PM
Pint & Plow
A great opportunity to catch up with familiar faces, meet new members, and talk BMWs before Saturday’s drive.
Saturday is our big driving day!
We’ll head south from Kerrville through Medina, Bandera, Tarpley, and Utopia, enjoying some of the best backroads and scenery the Texas Hill Country has to offer.
We’ll stop for lunch at 11:30 AM at Neal’s Dining Room in Concan.
After lunch, we’ll continue toward Camp Wood before making our way back to Kerrville through Mountain Home and Ingram.
Weather permitting, we’ll host our traditional BYOB happy hour on the hotel pool deck in the late afternoon — a perfect chance to relax after a full day behind the wheel.
Group Dinner – 6:00 PM
Trail Boss Steak & Grill
There’s still more driving before we head home!
Sunday morning, we’ll once again head south from Kerrville, traveling past Camp Verde and Vanderpool, with a stop in Leakey.
From there, we’ll head north and loop our way back toward Kerrville, wrapping up the weekend with lunch.
Lunch – 11:30 AM
The Lakehouse
Our host hotel this year will be the Inn of the Hills Hotel in Kerrville.
Come join your fellow Tejas Chapter members for a weekend of great BMWs, winding Hill Country roads, beautiful scenery, good food, and great company.
Whether this is your first Utopia Drive or one of many, we look forward to seeing you in Kerrville!
