Our annual spring drive to take in the bluebonnets in the Hill Country
Planned by: Josh Butts
In the interest of the safety of our members, our current intention is to postpone this event. More details to follow.
Our lunch will be a la carte at Altstadt. They offer tours of their brewery if you're interested, though that's not on the official schedule. We're going to try to keep a tight schedule as they officially start seating for lunch at noon, and have requested that we arrive and be seated in advance of that. Please note that we do have a maximum number of people we can accommodate at Altstadt, so we will close RSVPs once we reach that number to ensure we don't overwhelm the restaurant.
Altstadt offers a variety of American and German food options, and a range of beers brewed on site. Their lunch menu is available here. I highly recommend the pretzel and cheese to start.
If the weather is nice, Altstadt is a very enjoyable place to relax outside and hang out for a while. The agenda officially ends at lunch, but afterwards you're only a few miles from downtown Fredericksburg's attractions to the west and if the wildflowers aren't cooperating, Wild Seed Farms is about a 5 minute drive to the east on US290.
