Join us for a crisp drive through the Texas Hill Country to explore the history of a Texas icon in the custom jewelry world.
Planned by: Ken Carson
Now available in 33 states, James Avery Artisan Jewelry is still designed and made in-house, every step of the way.
We will travel to the James Avery Visitor Center in Kerrville, Texas, where it all began in 1954, to learn about the humble beginnings, phenomenal success and growth, and the process involved in bringing a new design to market.
We will have about an hour and a half drive on Texas backroads to an early lunch at Hungry Horse Restaurant in Boerne, where a room will be reserved for us. We will be ordering from the varied menu and paying on our own.
After a leisurely lunch, we will have an hour’s picturesque drive to the James Avery visitor center. Half of our group will tour the visitors center while the other half will visit the retail store. If you have any James Avery jewelry to be cleaned or polished, they will do so free during the visit. When the first tour is finished, the second tour will begin. James Avery will have extra staff on hand to answer any questions you may have about their jewelry.
