1995 540i M Sport, Second Owner, based in Texas. First owner was based in California. I do not believe this car has ever seen snow. Excellent Condition overall, very well maintained at Black Forest Werkshop in Austin, TX. No accident history, all VINs correct. Never been painted. Interior in excellent condition, no cracking leather, no serious blemishes. All stock - no chip, engine tuning, exhaust, ill-fitting non-standard wheels, etc. Tires have 10K miles on them and are in great condition. Overall, the mechanical condition is excellent. Everything works well, no issues. Car has $7K stereo, installed professionally at Custom Car Stereo in Houston, TX. I am a bit of a music fanatic, and the system is tuned for Jazz, but will play just about anything well. It consists of the following: Alpine Head Unit with iPod Controller (also works for iPhone as well, I have both); 2 Precision Power 4 x 125 amplifiers, well installed and completely hidden in the trunk.; Dynaudio 3.5" tweeters and 7" midranges in front.; 3 Dynaudio 12" Subwoofers installed stealth in rear deck lid.; XM Radio installed; K40 Laser Diffuser installed in the front, under the grill, with warning light between speedometer and tach (it's saved me more times that I can remember). All cabling is top of the line. There is not a hint of road noise, amplifier whine, etc. System has been working reliably for four years, as installed. The trunk space is *fully* usable - that was a major design goal of the system. The subwoofers use the air in the trunk (thank you for such tight seals, BMW). They only made 200 of these cars in 1995; it is a true collector's item. The only reason I am selling is because I am going overseas for two years and do not want the car sitting idle for that period of time.
